SEMI –AUTOMATIC

An affordable step-up from hand labelling.
Semi-automatic labelling machines save time by eliminating the process of holding the label roll in one hand, peeling the label off the backing, then holding the product still while trying to place the label in the correct position.

The label roll is held by the applicator. The product is placed in the machine by hand, automatically tripping a switch. The machine then rolls the product, rolls the label on, and stops automatically.

The label is applied quickly and accurately.

Ideal where conveyors are not available and low volume cannot justify an automatic machine.

AUTOMATIC

Automatic labelling heads are typically mounted on a stand and placed beside a conveyor. The head is oriented to apply pre-printed labels onto the tops or sides of products or cases in motion.

The advantages are:

  • No requirement for an operator
  • Higher speeds than semi-automatic labelling
  • Ability to fit easily into a conveyorized product flow system

PRINT AND APPLY

Print and Apply applicators save time by having one machine both print the label and apply it onto the product.

Label files can be changed as often as necessary at the point of labelling.
Printed labels no longer must be carried from the office to the plant.

AUTOMATIC LABELLING SYSTEMS

A fully automatic labelling system is a complete unit comprising a labelling head (either Apply-only or Print and Apply) and a conveyor on a common stand.

It can be used as stand-alone machine where product is moved by hand, or it can be integrated into a conveyorized processing system.

Designed specially for high speed sorters and conveyors, the Model 461 overhead produce labeler has the features you need.

From its digital logic controls, to its stepper motor drive, to its automatic sizer/sorter interfacing, the Model 461 is state of the art produce labeling. SEMI-AUTOMATIC PRINT AND APPLY LABELLING SYSTEM
